So, this is off the new Fugazi and Wu-Tang Clan mash-up released back in July, named Wugazi - 13 Chambers. I don’t normally like this sort of stuff (songs should be left alone once they’re done!), but this is obviously created with such care and affection, and as a result it’s turned out ace. The majority of the songs just combine well-known tracks from each artist to great effect, but this is different, and is one of my favourites of the album. It takes its vocals from Ghostface Killer’s “Back Like That” (feat. Ne-Yo). Which is a pretty standard R&B song on it’s own, nothing worth shouting about. But this throws Fugazi’s excellent “Slo Crostic” from “Instrument” into the mix which just suddenly brings it to life and the chorus jumps out at you, begging to be sung. Absolutely brilliant.
fave Wugazi, makes me dance like Nicholas Hoult in About A Boy
