The World According to Nouns

Things that annoy me about this new Audrey Tautou film trailer:

1. The cheesy American voice stating everything that I can figure out for myself by actually watching what’s happening in the trailer.
2. The fact that they compare it to Amélie when it looks nothing like it, then the main character is called Emilie.
3. It just makes it look like it’s a film made by Americans to look French, but it still looks glaringly American. Ironic thing is, I think the film is actually French, it’s the marketing that’s wrong.
4. At around 50 seconds it sounds like she says “I’m in deep shit, I’m in very deep shit” or something like this (my French isn’t great, but I made sure that I came out of secondary school with a basic grasp of French curse words). What do the subtitles say? “I’m in trouble! Deep trouble!”

If it’s a French film, I’d rather just see the French trailer.
